Bottle from the brewery online shop. Appearance - golden with a big white head. Some big floater bits. Nose - lemon zest and honey. Taste - lemon and caramel. Palate - tangy and lightly sweet. Close to medium bodied. Overall - decent.

500ml bottle from the brewery. Poured a slightly hazy golden straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light lemon citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a crisp, malt, slightly watery, fruity, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Cask at the Ale House, Colchester. Pours clear pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of citrus hop, with tropical notes. Light sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body and slight oily texture. Carbonation is soft.

5.Jul.2012, 1/2 cask @The Angel, Manchester. Golden clear body. Dense filmy layer and beautiful lacing. Rich hops; fresh, flowerbed, honey and grass. The taste isn’t as rich as the aroma. Hint of pine needles and wood. Smooth and oily. Cheeky like Mr. Fox himself!

Half, cask at The Angel. Light golden body. Low white head leaving a good amount of lacing behind. Moderate smell of grapefruits. Similar taste of grapefruits added by lemon and a drop of malty sweetness. Dry hopped ending. Fresh and fruity (Manchester, 05.07.2012).

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and mild hoppy, slight citrusy. Bitter, citrusy and crisp hoppy flavoured. Bitter and bone dry finish, crisp.

Clear gold beer. No real head. Light palate. Low carbonation. Grapefruit marmalade bitterness. A trace of orange. Finishes neutral. Decent.
