Brewed specially for the "Hogmanay" New Year celebrations, this is an excellent session beer with a crisp clean flavour derived from the Bramling Cross hops used for aroma.

On cask at Cafe Royal. Appearance -a dark toffee colour. A decent fawn head. Nose - a little toffee and some nuts. Taste - slight cardboard note before going into toffee and nuts again. Palate - light to medium bodied with a finish that seems to be a little sweet while still being astringent. Overall - maybe it’s my fault for picking a Hogmanay beer on 9th January.
