Cask@Travellers Rest, Grasmere. Dullish muddy brown beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly caramel and the flavour is watery, slightly caramel and dry. Overall a nice quite nutty, dry and caramel/toffee beer.

(Cask at Roscoe Head, Liverpool, 25 July) Colour is mahogany with ruby hints, thick off-white head. Nose is malty and nutty with hints of dark fruit and chocolate. Taste is malty and nutty with notes of chocolate and dusty hops in the underlying bitterness. Dry finish. Malty, nice session bitter.
