Porter with a complex mocha coffee flavour. The finish is refreshingly dry and sweet with a bitter end – the perfect antidote to the usual style of midsummer ales.

Cask gravity at Ealing BF 2008. Black with thin beige head. Good dry malt on aroma. Dry and some smoke on end. Good in mouth, good flavours. Some fruit, like dried plums. Cool. Fine.
