Donker kruidig degustatiebier. In dit bier zijn er 8 soorten mout verwerkt. Daarnaast zorgen de kruiden voor een mooie balans. Er werd ook gebruik gemaakt van kruidnageln vanille, koriander, kaneel en jeneverbes. Zeer kruidig bier maar toch mooi in evenwicht. De gebruikte kruiden zijn jeneverbes, kruidnagel, kaneel, vanille en coriander.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgium shared with dad, Kilburn, Derbyshire 25th December 2013 Dirty, hazy, puddly brown in colour almost no head. A tad underwhelming it must be said. Fruity, yeasty & spicey its fine, warming in mouth wuth a little watery cold chocolate drink, ok. A6 A2 T6 P3 Ov12 2.9

Bottle 750ml.Unclear - hazy matt medium brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, sweet yeast, cheese - smelly feet. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130427]

Bottle @ yespr. Pours a hazy dark amber brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty bitter caramel finish.

Bottle shared with tha Oirschot crew @ QDT 13. Deep dark red purple color, but after the yeast is poured it gets hazy and opaque. Small to medium beige head. Smell and taste malts, some sweetness, lightly alcohol, dried fruits, lightly raisins. Medium body and carbonation. Quite decent.

Bottle @ #Bexit tasting thx to benzai. Brown colour, small white head. Smells iron, malts. Bit boring. Tastes liquorice, iron, malts, sweet. Full body, too much carbo.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy reddish brown with a beige head. Comes slowly gushing. Heavy phenols in the nose, spices too. Rich body, overipe dark fruit, again spices - christmasy - with a little roast. Some warming alcohol. 270413

Bottled. A hazy brown beer with a thin brown head - very lively when opened. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices, candy sugar, malt, and a bit of chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, spices, chocolate, candy sugar, and a bit of roasted malt, leading to a dry, roasted, and chocolaty finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and breadish to caramelish. Sweet, verripe fruity, metallic and minerals. High carbonation. Roasted and light bitter. Dry and lingering minerals. Roasted and bitter dry finish.

75 cl. bottle sampled @ Brugs Bier Festival 2013. Yay, bunnies. Dark woody brown with a small tanned head. Nose is sweet cacao, dark fruits, chocolate, sweet but messy & inharmonious. Taste is booze coming through in a non-complimentary way, bit much given the ABV, soy sauce, overripe fruits, chocolate, herbal, cacao powder, quite a bit messy like a collapsed cake. Bit inharmonious & touch raw body. Whilst I feel like these guys are thriving a bit at the moment due to their newness or whatever factor, this is still a bit messy, I do see them succeeding thx! to advertisement & a dash of smoke and mirrors like quite a few other BE breweries.
