Filou is a strong blonde beer that is re-fermented in the bottle. Filou is brewed with Belgian and Czech aromatic hops. Therefore this blonde beer offers mild fruitiness and subtle hop bitterness. The result is a strong blonde beer that can be quite naughty, but always without bad intentions. A friendly beer for everyone!

Bottle at home. Clearing out the supermarket (Jumbo), we need a new beer store in this town!! Clear gold with white head. Sweet malts, sugar, strong yeast presence, alcohol, citrus, vegetal hoppy herby spiciness. Medium sweet, under medium bitterness, light yeasty yoghurty cheesecake tartlike finish. Medium body, basic texture, medium carbonation. Little bit too sweet as usual but a nice strong doughy and hoppy spiced Belgian yeastiness that I must admit I enjoy.

(Bottle, Bier Circus, Brussels, 16 Oct 2015) Golden amber colour with dense, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of apricots, toast and candy sugar. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, citrus, toast, marzipan and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made tripel. Nice one.

Pale, clear, with a nice head. Smells like a typical Belgian pale ale, citrus and grains, bread, yeast. Light and dry taste, bitter and refreshing. Not bad.

Bottle at home. Clear golden with white head that leaves some nice little islands made out of tiny bubbles. Strong pear juice, lemon, sour dough, light spices, light malts and biscuits, light grassy finish. Taste is under medium sour, light sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Bit messy.
