500 ml can. Clear, brassy gold color. Puffy white head. Earthy, bready malt aroma hints at honey and grain. Flavor is more of the same. Sweet grain, lemon peel, earthy yeast and a hint of honey. Some booziness as well. Finishes dry and spicy.

(Keg at L'Artiste, 20240612)The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey, Belgian style yeast and spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, Belgian style yeast, malts, spiciness and bitterness. Aftertaste was yeasty, sweet and bitter. Nice.

En tulipa, color dorado claro, bastante carbonatada, espuma blanca de media retención. . Aroma a cereal en grano, corteza de pan, malta, levadura belga, especias. En boca es ligeramente dulce de entrada con notas maltosas y frutales, final amargo y fuertemente especiado. Perfil belga, correcta, no mucho más, un tanto cansina.

33cl bottle. Blonde color, clear, faint haze, fizzy, white head. Flavor of pale malts, sugar, yeast, solvent. Aftertase is winey, light spiced. Taste sugary, light spicy, thin bitterness. Warming finish, sweetish, short.

EIn Bierchen, das schon wegen der Mini-0,2l-Dose auffiel und in einem italienischen Conad-Supermarkt gefunden wurde. Es ist ein klassischer Belgier mit dem vollen Programm mit ALkohol und Malzigkeit mit schön ausgewogenen Aromen. So ist es recht schwer, aber doch noch ganz gut zu trinken, obwohl es doch freundlicher und harmonischer sein könnte.
