Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 26.01.16. Ebony. Diminishing brown head and lacing. Aroma of sour dark malt and perfume. Alcohol, dark malt and coffee in taste. And a hint of cough medicine. Cloying rather than drinkable.

Dark, semi-opaque pour, with a small and unimpressive head, same as the other beers from this series. Metallic smell, dark cherries and some funk. Bitter and sour taste, with lots of oak and barrel feel, some peat, dark cherries, cocoa and a metallic taste. The body is a bit too light and the alcohol overwhelms a bit.
