Sampled @ Borefts 14. Pitch black colour with a small off-white head. Smells rum, tequila, boozy, alcohol, sweet, roasty. Tastes glue, some alcohol, roasty, earthy, juniper berry. Medium to full body, nice carbo.

Bottle. Again, different from the other Meneer de Uil beers. Aroma reminds of port, with that boozy fruitiness. Taste is of strong dark roasted malt, with notes of whiskey, fruit and a more modest peat. Interesting beer.

Black. Thin head. Aroma is very dry and woody with a hint of whiskey. Flavour of malts, whiskey. Quite warming. Some dried fruit sweetness doesnβt quite stand up to the dry woodiness.

Bottle shared. Pours near black with a beige head. Aroma has big fruity aspects, overripe dark fruits, vinous, caramel, dark chocolate. Flavor is over moderate sweet and bitter. Medium to full bodied with light carbonation.
