Opaque dark brown beer. Light palate, a little watery. Tangy and minerally with a thin mouthfeel. A little fruit. This is like a lightweight Porter. Not terrible but lacking body, weight and substance.

A pitch black beer with a thin light brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is slightly acidic with light notes of chocolate, and a dry end. I like the aroma, but the flavor lacks power and sweetness.

(Bottle 50 cl) A black beer with a tint of red and basically no head. Vague aroma of burned malt. Quite flat and watery with accents of roasted malt and a vague acidity. Not really a good experience. 160206

Bottled. Near black and perfectly flat. Rounded, clean mouthfeel. Near flavourless, with only vague hints of acid and toffee. Seems to me like the bottle conditioning never happened. because surely they did not intend the beer to be this way?
