Smell of hops, spruce. Cloudy yellow colpur, white head. Aroma of hops, spruce, some orange peel. Medium carbon. Very bitter. Really dry IPA, but a functioning one.

Bottle, 0.5l. Hazy golden pour, one finger soapy white head, low to medium retention. Minimal lacing. Balanced nose, decent malt character, citrus and grassy hops. Medium body, medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel and texture, thick and smooth. Moderately bitter, feels way to low for supposedly 100IBU. No matter, it's well balanced and tasty. Aroma has distinctive malty background with notes of caramel. Fruity herbal mix of hops, citrus fruits, pine, grass. Tropical. Herbal spiciness. Dry mouthfeel. Lomg finish with subtle lingering bitterness. Overall, pretty good IPA. Easy drinking and refreshing. Good.

16 ounce can, canned December 14th 2017.

Pours a lightly hazed pale gold, aboot an inch of foam with a slow pour, good amount of lacing.

Dank smelling, noticeable onions, grapefruit, toasted malt as far as the malt goes. I reckon that there's some pine there as well.

Grapefruit, pine, onions are mild, very dank. Malt is toasty, not at the forefront but there and I am glad that it is.

Medium body with medium carbonation, it finishes with that smack you in your face dankness.

Well, another Surly brew that impresses me. Imagine that!
