STILL PERRY ABV 5.4%
Available in Sweet or Medium. Bag In Boxes 5L, 10L or 20L.
Awarded ‘Best in Gloucestershire’ for two consecutive years. Perry made mainly from the perry pear ‘Blakeney Red’. Pale straw in colour, crisp and fresh, gives a beautiful explosion of pear on the palate, leaving a pleasant lingering tannic after taste. Good with fish dishes and for drinking on its own.

Bottle 500ml.
Clear light yellow colour almost cristal white with a fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy pear, vanilla notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, pear, tart, dry, vinegar notes. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20110619]

500ml bottle bought at Corks, Bristol as ’dry still perry’ at 6.4% ABV. Pale, slightly hazy, yellow in colour, with almost no carbonation. Tart, spicy aroma, with some fruit in the background. Complex flavour, with some pear fruit, tartness, wood and even a hint of vinegar, as mentioned below. Rather surprisingly, the finish was rather mellow with pears to the fore. Good stuff.

Bag in a box at Reading BF. Pale gold/silver. Acetone on aroma. Decent dry perry. Not overly exciting. Some soft fruit. Not harsh. Not overly dry, good acetone underlying it though.
