Cask, Dick Whittington pub, Gloucester, 02-09-06. Loz (partner) had this first and I was that impressed I had to have one. Poured a very red/brown colour and with a noticeably fruity berry nose this beer was a real turn up as I’m not usually that struck by fruit beers. The label described it as a wheat beer with the addition of locally grown raspberries, the raspberries were very evident and really added and improved but in no way did they ever overpower, we both agreed that this was very, very refreshing and really different but both felt that a half or pint would probably be enough. Wonderfully different beer.
