Winter Solstice® is our take on the classic style of “winter warmer.” Boasting a deep amber hue and rich mouthfeel, its creamy finish will lift your spirits. Hints of toffee, spice, and caramel tease the senses making this the perfect ale to share with friends and family during the cold days and long nights of winter.

Bottled 355ml. -from Za Popen’t Pivoteka, Ljubljana. Hazy dark amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, spicy caramel nose. Sweet malty, caramel, light roasty and overripe fruits with pleasant hoppy and cinnamon notes. Hint of alcohol in the finish. Nice one.

33cl bottle split wth Tomaz @ home.

W smaku jakies przyprawy, jakby bazylia, ziola prowansalskie. Typowy smak dla zimowych sezonowych piw.

Bottle, Delirium Hoppy Loft. I really dig tjis brewery... heh, especially the price of its beers compared to some we get here in Europe. In any case, this poured a shiny copper-red body with an off white head. Dusty rose hip notes in the aroma, sweet & sour. The flavor... umm, if rose hip juice exists, this is it, sweetish, very creamy, with some bitterness in the finish, extremely balanced. Wrote "Wow!" four times, I sure liked it. Surprised me really.

Pours dark reddish orange with a small head. Aroma of spices, sweet syrupy notes, hints of malts and caramel. Taste is sweet, syrupy and malty with hints of spices and caramel. Finish is sticky and sweet with some syrupy and spicy notes. Feels a bit unbalanced and the spices used don’t really fit here.

35,5 cl bottle @ olio, bottled 03.11.2012
Aroma is somewhat malty resin, some berries and hints of spices. Flavour is somewhat hoppy and malty with resin, some spices, milk chocolate and hints of berries. Also distant vegetable notes on some sips and a slight ”malt drink” feeling here. Decent.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Hazy, copper colour with a firm medium-sized and tanned foamy head. Caramel-malty, spicy and mildly berry-fruity aroma. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a modest carbonation. Cara-malty taste with notes of berries, milk chocolate and a spicy touch of cinnamon and vanilla; mildly sweet-bitter finish with balanced fruity and spicy accents; especially the latter are lingering into the aftertaste. Stylewise not my cup of tea, but this one works for me. 01.III.13
