Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Hazy amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dark fruit and pepper. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. Feels a lot stronger than 4.5 % ABV. I would guess this was around 8 %.170215

Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton, Manchester. Somewhat murky brown pour with a small beige head. Sourish, pepper nose with yeast, wood and dark fruit notes. Sweetish flavour with the pepper evident alongside some funk, fruits and yeast. Not my favourite Fantome offering, but not without some character.
