At J.W. Sweetman, flight of beers (sampler tray), as J.W. Sweetman West Coast Pale Ale. ABV 4.5%. Deep golden colour, white head. Moderate hops in the aroma. The flavour has a nice hoppy character, with piney and grapefruity notes.

Keg at the brewpub, 28/06/15. Clear amber golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is pale malt, caramel, light hop, grass. Taste comprises caramel malt, bitter orange, light bread, toasty, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so APA, drinkable but lacks any discerning hop input.
