Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy dark reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, pepper and moderate hoppy. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 091112

Bottle 7.3% @ FoneFan. Dark brown/red with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, pepper and a little coffee. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, little pepper, hop, little dry, grass, little sweet and medium bitter.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, pepper, roast malt, hops, flowers, notes of fruits and licorice. Nice and dry.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown almost black color with a small off-white head. Has a spicy malty peppery hoppy aroma. Roasted malty peppery hoppy bitter flavor. Has a roasted malty hoppy bitter spicy peppery finish.

clear brown, smooth light brown head. very nicer hoppy aroma, licorice, roasted malts, flavor is roasted malts, biter hops, good balance, tilted towards roasted malts, but vewry tasty and fresh nonetheless.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices, malt, pepper, caramel, and straw, leading to a dry spicy finish.

Bottle 64 cl. Pours a clear dark brown with an orangey tint and a creamy and lacing beige head. Greasy hop aroma with quite some burned caramel as well. Rich sweet malty body, lots of toast and toffee with a spicy almost gingery touch. Bitter finish. 100912

Bomber. Black with lace. Great nose of chocolate, pepper, and very savory--like pork grilled in rosemary and balsamico. Salty, savory flavor as well, with fruity chocolate, berries and pepper, citrus hop. A nice, thick, rich body. The nose is fascinating and original. Great stuff.

Pours black with brown highlights and a large, light tan head.Nose shows tropical fruit (passion fruit, lychee), honey, roasted malt, coffee and a peppery note. Interesting.Similar flavours: roasted malt, peppery notes, pine, resin, coffee. The peppery note provides an interesting spin.Could use a bit more carbonation.
