This beer pours a dark mahogany-brown color with a medium light beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of dark fruit, yeast, oak and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of raisin, Belgian yeast, oak and rye malt. The finish is fruity with a subtle rye whiskey and yeast aftertaste. Good beer overall.

Bottle [from trade, big thanks to whoever send me this!!] @ home. Dark red-brown to brown color, medium sized light brown head that diminishes quite quickly. Aroma is malts, dark fruits, whiskey notes, caramelised sugars. Taste malts, dark malts, whiskey notes, brown candy sugar again, toffee, raisins, plums, molasses. Medium body and carbonation.

Bomber shared by Marcus. Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma of whiskey, dark treacle, dark fruits. Med + body. Flavor is sweet treacle, dark fruits, even plum/prune, whisky, wood. It’s really good. An almost plummy quad. Heat is almost indiscernible.
