On tap at Loyal Legion - PDX, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has some strange tartness, molasses, and tart dark fruits. Flavour is full of molasses, tart dark fruits, and alcohol. Pungent molasses dominates, though I can’t shake the tinge of perfumey booze that lingers. Decent.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a cloudy brown with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong molasses, bourbon, wood, toffee. Medium body, very sweet, toffee, wood, vanilla, boozy finish, very nice.

Bottle [from trade with ArdyExfor, thanks!] @ home. Dark brown color, red-brown hue coming through, medium sized beige head. Aroma is malts, booze, liquor, some molasses indeed. Taste malts, molasses, booze, not specifically bourbon, slight roast. Medium body, mediu carbonation. Not as good as I had hoped, but a nice beer.

375mL capped bottle shared by Pruf. Very dark brown color with off white head, long lasting but small head. Hey, I really like this beer. The lack of lots acidic black malts is nice. Sweet but not sugary and I wouldn’t know it’s barrel aged. Just smooth, rich, and nice. Simple.
