22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out soy sauce, light bourbon and vanilla. Flavour is similar, with soy sauce, light bourbon, and cocoa. Loaded on the soy sauce. Past its prime.

A pour from the bottle (thx, Simon!) on Black Christmas V. Pours a very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma is dark fruits, bourbon, leather. Same taste with chocolate notes. Very nice.

Bottle @ FiftyFifty Eclipse Charity Tasting. Opaque black color, average sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, liquor, light alcohol. Taste malts, liquor, lightly sweet, nice liquor-sweet-alcohol-light-bitter-balance. Medium body and carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle @ Pre Pale Ale Tasting/ Dolle und Halling Masters Of The Universe Tasting. Pours black with a creamy beige head. Roasted malts, coffeee, vanilla and chocolate. Vanilla and oak. Really tasty stuff. Thanks Jacob for sharing!

Bottle at Great British Beer Festival 2013. Poured a viscus black with a medium tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roast malt and oak. Smooth, very full mouth feel with flavours of vanilla, dark fruit and molasses. Excellent of burnt malt, coffee and some bourbon.

Thanks to Beer Savant for sharing 2012 vintage bottle during his 50th birthday bash. Brownish-black pour with a medium foamy tan head that recedes quickly. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate and coffee. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky vanilla, bourbon and chocolate. The finish is oaky with a dark chocolate and dark fruit aftertaste. Good beer all around.
