Bottle @ weekly tasting with Thompson. Clear dark orange to amber color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, huge almost barleywine like hops. Taste malts, very bitter, a touch of overripe fruit, over the top sweetish hoppiness, sweetish and bitter at the same time. Again, sort of a mix between a DIPA and a Barleywine. A slight hint of smoke in the distance somehow, or maybe that’s just me getting weird things in the flavor of this beer. Full body, medium carbonation. Tastes a lot stronger than 8.5% ABV.

Bottle from trade with rosenbergh, many thanks Jan. Hazy orange colored beer with thick white head. Citrus hoppy aroma with soapy notes. Solid malty base with caramel followed by distinct citrus hops. Warming alcohol. Long hoppy bitter finish. I am sure I had different batch than other reviewers and for me this beer was enjoyable.
