Tap @ van Moll during Pizza Port tap take over, medium sample. Clear golden color, short head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, bit tropical fruit, some biscuity malt. Chewy malt in taste, soft bitterness, some sweetness. Ok.

Draught @ Van Moll Brewpub during tap takeover. Hazy orange color, average to medium sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, hops, a nice fruity touch, resin, pine, slightly sweaty but fortunately that disappears quickly. Taste malts, hops, pine, resin, sticky piney hops, resinous bitter. Superb imperial IPA. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Love it!

Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of juicy fruits, zesty tropical notes, hints of caramely malts. Taste is sweetish, malty and hoppy with some juicy tropical fruits. Finish is heavy, sweetish and malty with some caramel and fruity notes. Okay, quite sweet and malty.

Poured up on tap at the 2015 edition of the AZ Strong Beer Festival where it exhibits a nice clear gold body that supports a thin off white head. The aroma is just delicious where it forces up resiny dank spicy garlic oniony goodness to go along with thin layers of juicy malt sweetened mango off in the background. The taste swirls with oniony - danky (?) – goodness and spicy earthy hops supported by an adequate thick malt body where thin rivers of mango juiciness try to take hold at the edges of the experience. This is just wonderful. Maybe this is the perfect moment for me for this beer or just maybe this is nearly a perfect beer. Just inviting, deep, juicy, involved, YUM! There are just two words to describe this beer any further and they’re both “money”

Pours pale straw with a white head. Looking good. Aroma has some tropical fruits, piney hops. Taste is not so huge in fruits but they are still there. Bitterness feels somewhat more round, spread wide instead of having spikes. Aftertaste is bitterly dry. Good stuff again.

Frothy white head. Medium amber golden color. Big tropica fruit and piney nose with a whallop of malty sweetness. The mouth lacks aggressive bitterness and dare I say restrained character in the mouth. Alcohol is super well hidden and highly drinkable. Slightly sweet malty finish with modest bitterness. Very nice.

Keg at PP Ocean Beach, as ’Mangosaurus’, 19/04/14. Clear light golden with a good sized off white head that retains well, full glass lacing ensues. Nose is mango, pine, light spice, ornge pith, hop notes. Taste comprises bitter grapefruit, stick mango, pine resin, grilled pineapple, ornage pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light to moderate hop bitterness. Nice stuff, laced with juicy tropicana and an easy drinking DIPA all round.
