Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Joes. Opaque black color, average sized light brown head. Aroma is malts and very herbal / spicy. Taste also has malts and a lot of herbs and spices. Totally not my thing. Body and carbonation are fine but the beer just has way way way too much herbs or spices.

Bottle @ benzai. Black colour with a small beige head. Smells thyme, mint, cardemon, herbs, cassave chips. Tastes sweet, loads the of herbs, chocolate, sweet, cardemom, pepper, weird, actually not that bad.

Sample from at Kurtkeller 004: Pipeworks-tastic 01 on 01/18/2014. Black pour with a medium khaki head that diminishes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of vanilla, chai tea and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of roast malt, chai spices and vanilla. The finish is sweetly spiced with a chai tea and malt aftertaste. I enjoy the drink on which this is based, so this is pretty good to me.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose and taste of winter spices, cocoa, vanilla, milk sugar, star anise, cinnamon and cardamom. Medium body.
