23/III/13 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 14/II/15 (2013-263)

Clear yellow beer, huge big bubbled white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: upon opening the bottle: horse manure, no really. In the glass: a dirty first smell, horse stable, horse shit and urine. After that's gone, we get grassy and hay aroma's, a hint of citrus, bit piny, resinous almost, and something sugary. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of citrus first, piny hops, fruity impression, pretty grassy. Aftertaste: citrus, very bitter hops, bit chemical, grains, some pinapple, unpleasant bitterness in the ending. Just adding a shitload of hops to your regular recipe does not automatically make for a good IPA / hopped up beer.
