What we have for you is a truly unique release that we are sure you will enjoy. We aged Two to the Dome (our Double IPA) in French Oak Chardonnay barrels and then blended it back with freshly brewed Dome. This process imparts great vinous character balanced with subtle notes of toasted oak that create a wonderful interplay with the big bright citrus profile of the whole leaf hops that we use in conditioning Two to the Dome. This is a solid heavy hitter with a bit of refinement that is sure to get people talking. This is a bottle to consume fresh, as hop profiles will diminish with age. We hope you enjoy drinking it as much as we enjoyed making it.

Bottle [from local swap worldwide edition thanks to nimbleprop] @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Slightly unclear dark orange color, full sized off-white head that diminishes fairly quickly to an average sized head. Aroma is malts, hops, some sticky fruityness, fruity hops. Taste malts, sweetness, some fruityness, a slight hint of white wine, softly bitter coming through after the initial sweetish malts and overripe fruits. Decent body and carbonation.

750ml bottle pours a hazy, light brown with some creamy, white head. Nose is interesting, some wood shavings, some candy sugar, orange, some soap, some faint pine, dried orange peel. Flavor has candy sugar, orange, pine, malt, some white grape, a little toasted wood. Full bodied, bitter finish. Not a bad beer, but I was disappointed they didn’t take this further for the Illuminati members.
