A hop lover’s delight! In the India pale ale tradition, this brew is very hoppy in both aroma and flavor from the generous amounts of Cascade hops used in brewing. Look for a medium to full body and golden straw color.

Bottle at Beer Temple in Amsterdam. Pours reddish amber with a decent white head. Aroma of fruity hop. Flavor is caramel with an impressive amount of citric bitter. It has a bite.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Coppery colour, mediumsized slightly off-white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity and floral hops along with some slight bready malts and also some slight notes of herbs. Flavour is quite much the same with also some grassy notes added. Quite basic IPA with no big surprises.

Bottle. Citric, less so than the pale ale it feels. Hazy dark golden, lacing head. Grassy, light earthy/claylike, Cascade bitterness for the finish. Fairly lightbodied, mellow chewy mouthfeel. ok, not fantastic.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild peachy, citrusy and pinewood hoppy. Caramelish malt base with a nice hoppy profile. Bitter and dry finish.

Bottled (Bierzwerg)
Clear copper color, good off-white head, some lace. Ryeish hoppy aroma. Starts a bit harsh and metallic, then sharp ryeish hoppyness. Aftertaste is sticky bitter. Quite boring Cascade IPA, probably much better when fresh.

Bottle from Decanter, Milan. Clear bronze pour with a decent sized white head. Muted aroma with some vague citrus hop. Flavour was watery and inspid with some bready malt and strangulated hop. Definite metallic tang towards the finish which isn’t winning any friends. Deeply average.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Clear, deep golden to amber colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Fruity and slightly zesty hoppy aroma with candy, cara-malt and a mildly toasty touch. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. Cara-malty taste with notes of liquorice and a marked, mainly fruity hops character; quite dry bitter-sweet fruity and hop bitter finish with a mild malty touch. Clean and easy-going IPA. 20.II.10

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear amber-golden colour with a mid-sized, very persistent, creamy head. Citrusy hop aroma. The malt background is rather shy, so you can feel the power and the citrus character very well, although it’s not as hoppy as I had expected it to be. Pleasant carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle thanks to cavie. Pours with a clear golden body and a fading white head. Aroma of malt, honey, stickiness, and sawdust. Taste is sweet, malty, and kind of crappy with little hops. Wet malt and very bland.
