Angry fist of Santa tasting at Chris o’s. Gold, slight haze. Thin off white head. Nice hop aroma. It’s a kick in the head with cat’s pee. From Harry. Really cool hop on the end. That gets better as it goes. 4/5 Re-rate at Churchill Tavern, Ramsgate. One of the best cask conditioned beers I ’ve had. The hops jumped out at you.

Slightly hazy copper ... big lovely fruity flowery american hop nose ... juicy but drying ... piney and little lime ... little grassyness and quite hoppy ... orange peel.

Bottled (BB 04/2009)
Amber color, small white head. Fruity but also dry hoppy aroma with horseblanket yeasty notes, which I slighlty disturbing. Medium bodied. Sweet fruity Amarillo hoppy (peach, passion fruit, pinewood) flavor with lots of aromatic nuances. Pinewoody and tropical fruityness in the aftertaste. Quite good malty backbone for 4.5 % beer.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Slightly hazy golden with a small off-white head. Delicious and somewhat peachy hop aroma. Medium body with light caramel notes and a dry and very aromatic bitterness from the Amarillo. A very delicious session beer. 190608

Draught Good yellowish, very fine head, leaving some lace over fully hazy amber-straw beer. And now for Amarillo jumping out of the glass, with a background of slight malt sweet, and dry hop bales finish. Very good nose. Soft citrussy hops in the taste, with lemonpeel, grapefruit and many yeasty esters. Thick, yeasty-creamy MF, medium bodied. Sample maybe too shaken (newly opened keg). Good, very aromatic beer, but ending a bit thin in the palate.

Corked bottle at Ølfestival 2008, Århus
Hazy deep blond color. The aroma shows initially a powerful american hop, then elderflowers too. Dry and quite thin mouthfeel, too simple. Strong bitterness, with some good hop oils.

Århus2008. 75 cL bottle. Pours almost clear and golden orange. Aroma is fruity and with a mild bitterness from the hops shining through. Flavour is mild fruity hops with a light bitterness already towards the finish. Light fruity finish with a mild lingering bitterness.
