Bottle, 75cl corked. It pours a hazy, orange-golden body under a small, white head. Looking very good actually, but I would like a better head. Piney hops and some malty sweetness on the nose. Lovely piney flavor with sugary malty sweetness and a nice bitterness. Full-bodied. Long resiny finsh. An easy to drink beer, refreshing and pleasant. Nothing extraordinary, just good. (090213)

enjoyed on tap from the Pre-ZBF, pours hazy amber with a thin white head. Strong hoppy aroma. Flavors are sweet malt and a very bitter hop finish. Easy to drink and delicous.

[33cl bottle] Cloudy, orange colour with a mid-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Aromatic hoppy, slightly citrus-fruity nose with spicy Belgian yeasts and a light sweet cara-malty blend. Bitter flavour with a balanced malty sweetness. Dry, cara-malty taste with notes of grape-fruits and a slightly piney hops-character. Dry and bitter, subtle fruity finish. Nice liaison of American hops and Belgian yeast [22.XII.08].

Thanks to Lithy for sharing this one at decaturstevoβs 2008 Zapit Tasing Tasting. Hazy dark yellow off-white head. Some citrus hops, malt. A bit thin but not offensive.

Bottle. Golden, hazy, small stable + lacy off-white head. Robust dry aromatic hoppy nose with orangey undertones. Bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied. Solid lingering grapefruity-tart and hoppy finish. Good, but the hops do not harmonize so well with this belgian yeast......

Bottle on 2008-11-15. Golden and clear. Medium sized white head. Grapefruit and fruity yeast in nose. Medium bodied and dryish palate with lot of carbonation. Grapefruit, fruitiness, yeast, little bit of harshness and bitterness in taste. Bitter and fruity aftertaste. This beer is more like a saison than a bitter.

750ml Bottle (Shared with FatPhil and Anna - Cheers!) - Golden/amber with a white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma with a hint of tea and peach. Fruity and fresh taste with peach, tea and a very slight aniseed hint. Well made.

On Draught, De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Orangey yellow with a thin white head. Plenty of amarillo hop lurking in the nose with some caramel malt. Thickish mouth feel. Nice citrus flavours and pretty darn good.

33cl Bottle bought at the brewery. Hazy golden/orange colour, creamy white head. Aroma of hops, resin and malts. Flavour is of American hops, resin and slightly malty. A bit less thin than de Molen Engels. Spicy bitter finish. A bit thin and dry mouthfeel. Very nice low ABV beer though.

Hazy tan colour. Herbal, floral hops with lots of spicy, dusty yeast notes. Dry, bitter, a little footy in the yeast character.
