Trockener, deutlich röstiger Antrunk. Würzig malzig, minimal herb. Schokoladig, rund, Kaffee, gelungen. 11/11/11/11//12

Sampled @ GBBF. Dark brown to black color, small beige head. Smell and taste sourish, strawberry, raspberry, lightly roasty. Weird mix between styles and perhaps not at all intended like this. but it’s quite nicely balanced and I like it.

Tap at Festival der Bierkulturen. Black colour with small to average, creamy, half-way lasting and lacing, beige head. Aroma carries decent hints of BA, oak, notes of dark berries, black currant, a touch of roasty dark malt. Taste has equivalent hints of oak, a vinous touch overall, cautious tartness, notes of dark berries, salient black currant flavours, a touch of dark malty roast. BA and dark malt are highly influential, so that you can’t seriously speak of style maintenance.
