Commissioned blonde with frothy, lacing, dense, snow white head and misty golden blonde colour with fierce champagne-like sparkling, audibly ’crackling’; attractive sight. Aroma of green apple, plum, cava, rhubarb, sourdough, straw, unripe pear, old dry cookies, minerals, wet paper, stale sweat. Restrainedly fruity onset, subdued pineapple and stonefruit sweetishness with sour accent increasing a bit later on, minerally with strong carbonation, light and dryish mouthfeel, a bit bready, subdued pale malt sweetness topped with ’Belgian’ spicy yeastiness, quite refreshing actually but somewhat dull, finishing in the same ’basic’, dull sourishness from the beginning, cava-like yeastiness and lightly bittering herbal hops. Probably serves as a good apéritif, has a sparkling wine kind of quality, but there is something sweaty in the nose I do not appreciate and the taste could do with more residual sugars and more body, I think.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy light orange color, small white head. Aroma has malts and herbs. Taste malts, herbs, orangepeel and lightly fruitpeel-bitter. Medium body, high fizzy carbonation.

Bottle @ benzai. Hazy yellow colour with a small to medium white head. Smells malts, sweet, herbs. Tastes lots of herbs, Belgian yeast, slightly sourish. Another bad Belgian beer if you ask me. Medium body, soft to medium carbo.

Little cloudy deep blond beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: citrus, grains, malty touch, grassy hops, bit spicy. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: citrus, malty touch, nice bitter hops, touch of sugar. Aftertaste: nice crisp bitterness from the hops with a citrus touch. I like this one. Also: not the typical De Graal flavour. Different yeast than usual?
