2/VII/13 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: VII/13 (2013-599) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!
Clear red brown beer, creamy light beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of caramel, dried fruits, fudge, some chocolate and chocolate milk. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some caramel, jam, fudge, pretty spicy, little hoppy, sugar, mocha. Aftetaste: caramel, mocha, bit hoppy, a bit watery ending. Was expecting more of this one...

Clear amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, sugar, molasses and banana. Quite sweet flavour, sugar, caramel and banana. Finish banana and caramel.
Was hoping to encounter in this beer the signs of the start of an Armada of Great Spanish Beers. Unfortunately it’s a bit too dull to be such a herald, but an amusing beer nonetheless.
(From 33cL bottle shared @ ZZT VI. Gift from Erwin, thanks so much mate!!)

28/11 0.33 l bottle @Cimmeria, Oviedo. Guinea pigs are hard to find, this is the first time I see any, after almost 10 days in Spain! It poured almost clear ruby brown body with tiny, but obviously off white head. Nice and strong aroma of barrel, scotch, caramelized sugar and licorice. Flavor was on the sweet side, caramel, toffee, other toasted malts, not much boozy nor woody, creamy and mild on palate, managing to be cloying in the same time. Finish was long, pleasant caramel and roasted sugar with some licorice or alcohol. Quite nice, easy going Belgian style based scotch ale.
