Bottled from Dan Murphy’s Geelong, on August 2, 2013.Marked 4% ABV.Clear golden color, small white head. Sweet, papery, vegetable scent. Paper, vegetable taste. Paper aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel, very low bitterness.Could be the beer I really liked the least from 5 weeks of beer drinking in Oz...

Light head disappears quickly. Light colored light bodied. A sweet and smokey aroma. Clean flavor, no bite.

Bottle thanks to Countbeer. Big rough white head on top of a clear yellow colored beer. Smell almost nothing, just a little malts. Taste malts and some sourness. Low carbo, low body.

From a 375ml bottle on 16/10/2010. I have a friend who, for a long period of time, pretty much refused to drink anything but Carlton Cold. I would frequently tell him he was drinking possibly the worst beer in the world. He has now dumped Cold, because of the change to the formula, which takes it down to 4% abv (I note that the new version no longer makes any reference to the Carlton brand at all). This is my first (and hopefully last) try of the revised Cold. Could it possibly be worse now? Virtually nil aroma (though my partner detected a touch of urine) and negilible taste, with a tiny bit of unpleasant sour bitterness at the end, which lingers too long and makes you crave water. Appalling.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is pale golden. Aroma and taste are malt, hops and straw. Weak but refreshing.
