A New Zealand hop that imparts a fruity wine like quality to beer! It’s got Blackcurrant, gooseberries & passionfruit aroma.

Cask @ Southampton Arms, London. Amber color, slight white lacing on top. Smell butterscotch so much biscuits or bread-malts. No hops or freshness present. Taste some butterscotch as well, plus a decent bitterness and lightly hops. Too bad, the beer has some potential I think, but the butterscotch smell and taste completely dominate the bitterness and hops. Low carbo, medium body.

Cask air pressure at Euston Tap. Deep amber brown colour with lasting beige head. Touch of diacetyl on the aroma along with some tropical fruit. Shame about the butter. Nite strong but there. Rather masks the hops. Not great nick either. A touch flat in the mouth.
