Bottle - thanks MrH! Pours opaque black, small tan head, some lacing. Aroma is roasty, coffee, chocolate, ashtray, smoke. Flavor is the same, rich and malty, smoky, chili peppers with spiciness coming on toward the finish. Light sweet, light bitter, quite tasty actually. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. Nice effort.

almost black colour, minimal brown head; aroma of chocolate, roastedness and smoke, maybe some spicyness; taste of roasted coffee, some dark chocolate and huge amount of hot chilli - causing long lasting burn in the mouth;a bit too much for me...

Bottle at the de molen tasting Pours very dark brown no foam Smell is roasted malts Good carbo Taste is hot , but less hot than the bbf version ( other beer ) this is way better . Its actualy drinkable Very hot in the back Dont get the smoke ( releived ) very nice roasted malts coming trough

Black colour, no head (few floating bubbles). Aroma of vanilla, bourbon, roasted malts, some bitterness. Sweet malty flavour, roasted malts, vanilla and bourbon. Light spicy chili in the finish, vanilla and bourbon. Rather nice brew but not really hot and/or spicy.

Big slightly brown creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, dark malts, caramel, chocolate, dark sugar, chili, lactose, hints of unripe banana. Taste is slightly sweet grassy, nicely spiced, dark malts, warming chili, coffee, lactose, dark sugar, caramel, chocolate, hints of licorice and hay. Longlasting mild bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel, nice warming chili touch. Nice.

Draught at Borefts, 2013. Flavors of pepper, lots of chocolate, lots of citrus, lime, sweet. Very interesting and peppery, but without being a mouth-burning fiasco. One of the better pepper beers to date for me.
