Draught @ Van Moll brewpub. Clear amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma reminds me of some kind of sweet candy. [Dutch: het doet me denken aan die kleine harde roze frambozen zuurtjes "van vruuger" die je in van die oud Hollandse snoepwinkels nog wel eens ziet liggen]. Taste malts, underlying malt base comes through with some grainy notes as well, I get a hint of rye as well even though I have no indication it's actually in there, underlying bitterness with sweet candy-ish notes on top. I get the feeling I'm drinking two beers at the same time. Quite an interesting beer in that respect. Texture is a bit thin, body is medium, carbonation is decent yet suitable. Interesting beer. 7-3-7-3-15.
