Bottle [label says 6.5% ABV] @ Van Moll Brewpub. Clear amber color, average sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste are both very malty, a bit dusty initially, raisins, a touch of caramel, hops. Gets better after a while though. Less dusty and malty, better drinkability. Medium body and decent carbonation. Decent.

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 10B). Bottle 33 cl - batch 469. AROMA: citrusy and floral hop aroma balanced with a sweet and caramely like malt notes. low esters. APPEARANCE: coppery orange color and hazy with sediment in suspension. average ivory head with good retention. TASTE: some hop floral notes initialy with a mild to faint malt flavour. very faint fruity esters. medium bitterness that lingers into a semi-dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an amber ale that lacks malt complexity on the flavour and more body.

Botella de 33 cl en casa 01-01-14. Lote 354. Aromas maltosos algo dulces.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of fruits, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, over ripe fruits, and lacto, leading to a dry and bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
