25/IX/15 - 75cl bottle @ Borefts 2015 (Bodegraven) - BB: n/a (2015-1290) Thanks to Fux for sharing the bottle!

Very cloudy red brown beer, no head. Aroma: very sour, red wine vinegar, earthy, red currants. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very sour, vinegar, dry, swimming pool, metallic. Aftertaste: same, very dry finish. Disappointing like most US sours. Happy I didn't have to cough up the money for this.

Bottle thanks to Chandler. Pours a murky ruby coppper with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong oak, slight vinious grape. Thin mouth nice grape, light acidity, oak, really enjoyed this one.

Aroma is slightly sweet with moderate grape and tropical fruit. Light oak and moderate funk. Moderate citrus. Pours a slightly cloudy red with light copper hues. Small, slightly pink head that lingers on the edges. Flavor has a light sweetness and moderate acidity. Nice grape character and light tropical fruit with moderate acidity. Light citrus notes and medium light funkiness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a very nice beer with great grape character. Nice oak and fruity funk character. Not really any barnyard character though. Nice acidity and well balanced.

Thanks NYC guys for sharing. enjoyed at room temp, lots of yeast shaken up a bit from the trip. so it’s a cloudy reddish blood pour, light edges, mild head. Nose is super blue cheese rind, some moldy oranges, molasses, blackberry, grape soda, leather and tannic oaky oomph. Taste is a sharp acidity up front. I feel a bit of heartburn immediately after swallowing. So very tart, almost lemon rind. undertones are very Saint Lamvinus or cascade the vine. Lots of oak. peach acidity at the finish.
