Dunkel zou je kunnen omschrijven als een vergeten bierstijl wat je helaas weinig tegen komt. Makkelijkste om het qua smaak uit te leggen is een ondergistende dubbel. Maar dan laten we juist het doordrinkbare makkelijke karakter van de Dunkel weg. En daar draait het juist om bij dit soort bieren.

Tap @ Drinkers Pub, 20 cl sample. Slight hazy amber color, medium frothy head. Aroma of caramel, herbal and spicy malt and some earthy and spicy hop. Feels quite german, wurzig. Soft earthy bitterness, caramel sweetness. Decent.

Draught @ Drinkers Pub, Eindhoven. Clear rusty orange brown color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, caramel, brown malts, light soft bitter finish. Decent body and carbonation. Ok beer.
