Bottle @ Fonefan US Tasting. Pours pitch black with a small brown creamy head. Aromas of heavy boozy whiskey, fruits, rye, bonfire, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, caramel. Taste has caramel, rye whiskey, spice, coffee, booze, bitter chocolate.

Bottle 22fl.oz. [ As Ironfire Boot Hill Killer Stout BA bourbon ].ABV: 7.5%. Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, espresso, licorice, alcohol - bourbon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, espresso, chocolate, licorice, wood, alcohol - bourbon, dark malt, dill notes. 22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and chocolate malty. Breadish and dark malty. Dry, roasted, vanilla and caramelish. Dry, bitter and roasted dark malty.

Bottle @ Lots of Mark Knofler and Fransk’ kartofler, Ulfborg 2016. Pours black with a small creamy beige head. Roasted dry nose and flavor. Coffee, wood and vanilla. Slick. Tasty stuff!

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Almost black with a lasting light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, spicy, herbal, wood and whisky. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish. 111116

Bottle @Ulfborg. Black, tiny offwhite head. Aroma has wood and booze, light notes of caramel and perhaps smoke. Caramely whiskey flavour, light notes of smoke towards finish. Ok warming booze.

Draught @ Babajan. Very tasty yet rather mild in its parts. Notes of coffee, chocolate and whiskey. Not that bitter. Creamy mouthfeel. Drinkable.

Tap @ Beer Temple, at Goose Island Migration week, with Markoijelena and Zlotta (a.o.). Black color. Dense beige head with good retention. Aroma’s: fruity, peach at first, but after a few minutes that completely disappears to make way for roast and chocolate. Retronasal light chocolate, roast, something typical, light barrel. Flavor is moderate sweet, chocolate. Meduim bodied. Needs a re-rate, as I had this next to BCBS & BCBCS....
