33cl bottle (bottled 10/07/2020) as “Struise Pannepeut” from Etre Gourmet web shop as my #6500 beer. F: tin, tan, quick gone. C: dark brown to black, opaque. A: sweet malty, raisins, candy sugar, banana, port wine, caramel, mellow pears. T: full malty base, mellow fruity, bit toast, banana, pears, raisins, bit spicy, light oily mouthfeel, velvety warming alcohol, soft to medium carbonation, very good balanced, fully enjoyed.

Fles 33cl thuis. Vintage 2020. IBU27. Pruim, caramel, vijg, rozijn, donker fruit, redelijk krachtig, bittertonen, zoeten, chocolade, licht vineus, noot, wat droog. (26-2-2021).

A dark Quadrupel from Flanders it says on the back of the label. Vintage 2020 it says also, I cannot wait on any aging. Quads are a favorite and De Struise hovers at the top. I have the 33 cl bottle open and pouring into the preferred and sizeable New Belgium snifter. Rich mahogany in color and the barest of a tan ring around the rim. A heavy and delightful nose, ripe dark fruit, malt, black cherries and biscuit. I pause for the drink and then go ahead. Ah yes. Dark cherries, grain, syrup, whole wheat bread, prunes and dates. A step away from the usual quadrupel. Similar but different, rather good.
Botella de @StruiseShop, Online. 27/12/2020. Color marrón corona de espuma blanca aromas maltosos, levadura, pasas, sabor dulce, maltosa, cuerpo sedoso. Agradable.

05-11-20 // bottle. Absacker. Too lazy/tired for notes. But a lovely complex and rich Belgian dark. 2020 edition.

Flaska från Etre, vintage 2020. Mörk kastanjebrun med beige krona. Katrinplommon, kandisocker och marsipan. I bakgrunden kakao och lite jordiga toner. Smakar ungt och kanske en gnutta spretigt, med en del hetta från alkoholen.
