Pannepøt (read Pannepeut) is a beer specially brewed and named as a wink to the Danish market presented at the Danish beer festival ’Københavnske Øldage 2006’ exclusively at Ølbutikkens stand. It is produced to express the brewers gratitude to all the Danish beer amateurs that drink their products daily. Pannepøt has later been available on draught and bottles at bars and shops in Belgium & Denmark. Since winter 2006, this beer’s popularity kept growing in Belgium at such a level that the production today equals Pannepot.

25 April 2023. Bottled: 9/12/2020. Aroma of diluted caramel, ruby port, prune, brambleberry, fig, wood, wet cinnamon. Taste has sweet-sourish brambleberry, blackcurrant, bit lemony almost; malty base of diluted caramel, vague toast, herbs. Herbal hops in the finish along with sourish dried fruits, wood & ruby port-like alcohol. Medium body, thin oily texture, soft carbonation. Well, the proof was in the pudding: Pannepeut is not really fit for ageing; effectively losing weight but also strength. Still enjoyable, but feels a bit like a diluted Pannepot.
Original rating: 29/12/2021. 6/8/9/8/9=8.3. Bottle from Struise Shop. Bottled: 10/7/2020. Hazy dark brown, thin, frothy, tan head. Aroma of date, fig, ripe plum, pear, red apple, syrup, caramel, 'Ersatz' chocolate, peanut, brown rum. Taste has sweet date, pear & red apple in a caramelly, (diluted), milk-chocolatey body with some nuts & herbal bitterness. Earthy, herbal hoppy finish, roasted edge even, more dried fruits, liquorice and warming brown rum-like alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Elegant, rounded Quad, but less complex than the Pannepot.

Dark brown, a bit translucent. Light, smooth, malty. Caramel, some fruitiness, a bit sweet, a bit boozy. I'd say more fruity than the regular 'pot, a bit more light. Good stuff.

Boozy (it is a quad), but well-balanced. Dried fruit, candied fig nose, smooth finish.

Üllatavalt vesine ja suht räpane. Mälestused on sellest paremad. Vbla oleks pidanud enne robertit jooma, mis oli väga hea...
