33cl bottle as Delirium Christmas – Pours a dark amber colour with a reddish tinge and a large off-white head that settled. Aroma is fruity, caramel, overripe and dried fruit with some yeasty notes. A sweet taste, sweet caramel, malts, spice, and dried fruit flavours. A light roasted bitter sweet and warming alcoholic finish.

This is a treat every year, and much needed after a nonstop ten hour shift. Love the bubbly, champagne like taste as it pops around the taste buds. Sensational.

0.33 l bottle as 'Delirium Christmas' from 'Bierloods22', best before September 2022, over a year old, I think. Clear, deep ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, malty, rather yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of coriander, dried peach, honey, vanilla and a touch of citrus. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of caramel, honey, chocolate, coriander, nutmeg, honey and light citrus, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy and slightly boozy finish. Medium to full body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Beautiful beer, typically Belgian, heavy and strong, perfect as a digestif after a savory Christmas dinner.

Aromas intensos a licor, especias y notas frutales.
