Bottle. Pale blonde, cloudy. Granny Smith aroma and flavor. Somewhat artificial, but not unpleasant. Dominating apple. Sweet.

Bottle as: Bavaria 0,0% Radler Apple. This global beverage product is not my favorite style.

Bottle at home. Hazy pale yellow with white head. Fresh juicy apple, cider, unfiltered applejuice, applesauce, light cardboard, sugar replacement/sweetener, apple flavored ChupaChup. Over medium sweet, light tartness. Thin body, unfiltered applejuice texture, watery finish, quite dry yet sweet, under medium carbonation. Pretty nice for an apple radler! Apple flavor is less artificial than I expected.Earlier Rating: 12/9/2015 Total Score: 2This is a backlog entry from 12/09/2015. Bottle from Albert Heijn Amsterdam drunk on a park bench. Apple aroma. Sweet apple juice in the mouth not terrible. Too artificial but no bad flavours. OK.

Can. Golden color. Aroma of sweet apple juice. Tastes like sweet chemical apple lemonade. Not very good.

New Bavaria product, can from Albert Heijn supermarket. This is a mixture of Bavaria 0.0 Original, in itself a rateable beer because it has undergone fermentation at some point, with apple-flavoured lemonade; could be listed both as a Radler and as a low alcohol, but I think the ’fruit’ aspect of it outweighs the absence of alcohol in importance for the overall ’beer’. Cloudy straw blonde with somewhat greenish hue and medium sparkling, under a creamy, egg-white, lacing head - this looks surprisingly like a witbier (and does contain wheat, as a matter of fact - that is where the comparison stops). Strong and simple apple juice and apple lemonade-like aroma (Fanta Apple or something), lemony ascorbic acid, tons of refined sugar, apple-flavoured air freshener and something chalky not unlike old aspirin, but little to no true ’beer’ odours, at least not at the temperature at which it is supposed to be consumed. Very sweet, sugary taste, cloying a bit, very apple lemonade-like, with a strong ascorbic effect as in, indeed, Fanta, with softer carbonation than expected; this sugary sweetness continues, a very weak echo of grains and wheat is in there somewhere but completely overpowered by the lemonade factor; bit metallic too. Finish, if any, simply continues the sugary and ascorbic lemonade effect, but also adds that chalky, somewhat wry and bitter aspirin and chemical effect, making it less pleasant than it already is. I do not understand why things like this keep popping up: what is the purpose of it? If you want to drink an apple-flavoured soda pop and avoid any alcohol, have a Fanta Apple instead, at least you won’t have the chemical bitterness in the end there.

Bleek geel iets wazig nagenoeg kraagloos.

Sampled from bottle @ Oirschots Bierfestival. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste lemonade, sweetness, (Dutch) "dubbel friss". Low body, average carbonation. As expected. Lemonade with a low alcohol percentage.
