Bottle at home. Aroma of malt, caramel, raisins, toffee, hint of roast, ripe fruits, some liquorice notes. Flavour is medium sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Body is medium to full, smooth and rich. A bit disappointing, I had hoped for more ’Indian’ and ’Summer’ notes, like a hoppy fruity Bock beer. Still, despite not being a beer that breaks from the Dunkler Bock mold, this is a fine and refined example of the style.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy dark brown colored brew with an dry bitter taste, hints of caramel and after eight chocolates and some smokiness.

Creamy offwhite good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Plumb notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

A: toffee, milk chocolate, date, candied plum, brown sugar, peanut, vague gravy.
T: very sweet plum, raisin, pear, toffee, bit herbal.
F: herbal hops, dried fruit, syrup, herbal liqueur-like alcohol.
P: medium body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation.
Pretty sweet, just enjoyable.
