Bottle at home. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, toffee, fruity notes, wood, dried dark fruits, hint of hops. Flavour is medium to heavy sweet with a moderate bittersweet finish. Body is full, a bit syrupy. Somewhat like a US Barley Wine. Tasty malty caramel toffee fruity beer, very smooth.

Taste is sweet boozy, sugar, grass, alcohol, oak, weeds, dried dark fruits, leafs, grain. Medium bitterness, sweet and watery mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

330ml bottle. Opaque, dark brown colour with late awakening, small, creamy, fading, beige layer. Sweet-ish malty and woody aroma, notes of dried fruit, raisin, fig, some treacle, a minimally smoky touch of cedar wood. Taste is sweet-ish malty and slightly dry woody, notes of dried fruit, raisin, fig, a touch of treacle and honey, fresh woody counterpart; well hidden alcohol. The cedar wood lends dry- and freshness and compensates the malty heaviness quite well.

Old lost rating: Draught @ Borefts Beer Festival 2015. Unclear dark brown color, minimal head. Smell and taste malts, dark fruits, light cedar I guess and some alcohol, a bit boozy. Medium body, low carbonation. Decent.

Brown color, almost black, beige head, short duration. Aroma has notes of molasses and toasted dry fruits. Flavor is sweet, some cloying with a good alcoholic presence. Sweet final with toasted malts notes, and burnt caramel. Dense and creamy on palate.
