It’s so great that you like coffee. I just love that about you. Speaking of which, you’re holding an oatmeal coffee stout positively redolent with coffee aroma and flavor. It kind of tastes like a chocolate-covered espresso bean, only drier and more like beer. Nifty fact: we’re one of the only breweries in the world to roast our own coffee, which allows us to be extremely persnickety about which beans we buy and how we roast them. Taste the persnicketiness!

Aromas are natural coffee cocoa dark malt roast. Flavors are like nose, no off qualities at all. I don't really pick up on any oatmeal character. Great body and finish. Excellent beers.

Pours a dark brown colour with copper-ruby highlights. The head is frothy, warm beige, decent lasting with little lacing. Roasted malt aromas with dark fruits, molasses, nuttiness and the coffee appears at one point. The taste has the fruits, burnt malts and the coffee is in the background. A little dryness in the mouthfeel. Hops are nicely balanced with the coffee, but this one is a little too in the back to be a great coffee stout.

Can courtesy of Jude and Baz, ate in their camping hut, Picketts Lock, campsite Friday 16th March 2018 Pours black (or as close as) coffee in the mouth, a little oatmeal. There is a lot going on for the abv, coffee is the principal thing here, a bit of a one trick pony but I like this. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8 is
