Bottle. Pours dark brown with a foamy beige head. Aroma and flavor of roasted malt, chalk, nuts. Ugh. Harsh finish. Drain pour.

Pours very dark brown, topped with thin offwhite head, nonlasting. Bready malt with some medium roastiness and a bit of chocolate. Mildly sweet with chocolate. Milder bitterness. A bit metallic aftertaste. Light body. At first taste like coloured pale lager, but gets some more character later on.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, dark amber colour with a slightly beige and mid-sized foamy head. Delicately roasted malty aroma with notes of toffee, subtle fruity accents and vanilla. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. A tad slim dark malty taste with notes of toffee, cacao and traces of cardboard; rather restrained bitter finish. Unspectacular. 16.II.18

Bottle from Beer advent calendar 11/24 - it's pay day! And my today's treat is... Booooring again. Or not even that. Dull aroma. Rather watery taste with tiny little bit of roasted malts. Why is this called porter?

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, dark brown colour with ruby glimmer and small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Slightly roasty, minimally sweet, dark malty aroma, hints of chocolate, treacle, a nuttily touch. Taste is slightly dry, roasty dark malty, surpressed hints of treacle, minimally grassy and metallic hoppy interference.

Brown with little beige head. Aroma is honey, cocoa beans, not so much. Taste is bitter coffee, sour citrus. Not so smooth. Meh.
