Paso ligero, licoroso. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda.

Bottle at home shared by Maakun. Black light tan head. Big sweet deep roasted malts, big tequila barrel note, tequila booziness. Juniper berries, coffee, chocolate. Medium sweet, light bitter. Over medium body, almost full. Low carbonation, feels dry and bit thin. Chocolatey tequila finish. Tequila always brings back terrifying memories, so much less enjoyable than bourbon. Bottle shared. Black with small beige head. Brown sugar, strong tequila, rich dark chocolate, toffee, brown bread, thick sugary agave syrup, light brandy, red grapes, paper, kiwi fruits. Very sweet and light boozy bitterness. Full bodied with light alcoholic finish. Syrupy sweet chocolate notes and lots of tequila is an interesting combo. It’s enjoyable but I’m not sure I want to have this often.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks Stas. Black. Big aroma of chocolate, vanilla, wood, some roast. Sweet flavor with chocolate, caramel, vanilla, and a light spicy hint. Full-bodied. Great. Alcohol is pretty well-concealed for 13%. I tend to dislike tequila barrel-aged Imperial Stouts, but this one is definitely an exception.

Bottle shared at THT. Very dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of tequila upfront, booze, chocolate, fudge and alcohol. Flavour is light heavy sweet. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation. Tequila really doesn’t help..

33 cl bottle @ Beer Temple, share MarcodL & Benzai, tfs Marco! Black color. Short, dense beige head. Aroma’s: alcohol, acetone. Retronasal the same, with red fruit, sweetness and roast. Flavor is moderate sweet, alcoholic. Medium bodied. Velvetty mouthfeel. Finishes with roast and rather bitter. Aroma’s was a bit off-putting initially, but after some tasting I got used to it and it became better.
