Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy and dissipating beige head. Whisky notes in the nose, but also some glue - as so often in not completely successful barrel-aged beers. Rich in body, yet with than thinness that barrel-aging usually adds to a heavy beer. Roasty, lowish carbonation - again whisky and glue. The 100 IBU's are certainly well hidden - and so is the booze. Absolutely drinkable, but unfortunately also flawed. 221019

At Pre-Borefts tasting. Aroma of chocolate, caramelised malt, fudge and booze. Taste has chocolate, caramelised malt, booze, ripe fruit and some oxidation unfortunately, which takes away from the experience. Good beer still.

L42 Bottleshare. Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, light creamy sweetness. Light sourish dark fruits, Licorice. Spice. Smooth finish. It’s nice enough but I was expecting more.
