Bottle provided by Dortmunder: thanks! Golden color, creamy head. Cloudy. Banana, mandarin curacao and orange in the flavor. Rather herbal. Thin. Sharpish citric aftertaste.

Pours cloudy gold from the bottle and leaves a large, foamy white crown. Aroma is yeasty with pungent notes of decay. The banana remains far more subdued than in most Weizen. Taste is weizen malt, bubblegum, and lightly banana. Overall fairly dry. Closes with an unexpected bitter twist that quickly fades. Palate trends light - this one felt watery in places, particularly at the outset when it was still fairly cold. Decent.

bottle from Heinrichs 3000 Kornwestheim. Cloudy yellow with a creamy head. Wheaty and yeasty with pleasant fruity hints and a cheesy touch.

*Old rating, best before Jul 09. Schön weiches Weizen, leicht süßlich mit angenehmer Säure im Hintergrund. Schön süffig, nicht zu tief, nett.

500ml bottle. Hazy orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy, white head. Wheaty and fruity aroma, some banana, hints of spicy yeast in the background. Taste is wheaty, fruity, apple, a minimally sourish note, a touch of spice. OK.

50 cl bottle, BBE 01.03.2012
Floury and stale aroma with hints of bubblegum. Flavour is weird and somewhat stale with herbs, some nettles and bubblegum. Feels watery. A bit too much CO2 on palate. Not good.

Bottle: Pale golden, hazy, big persistent fluffy yellowish head; sourish yeasty-wheaty nose, bitter-sourish flavour, light bodied and tart; tart - as well - bitter-sourish finish. Flat and not harmonic......
